For the Diploma you will study 12 units in total across the two years of the course. The Core Units, which you must study, are listed : The Business Environment - You will explore business ownership, organisation, business aims and strategies and the external factors affecting business success. You will use a case study based on Alton Towers. Business Resources - You will look at the range of human, physical, technological and financial resources required in an organisation and how the management of these resources can impact on business performance. Introduction to Marketing - You will gain an understanding of how marketing, research and planning are used by all organisations. Business Communication - You will focus on the collection and management of business information. You will discover how the successful communication of that information throughout a business ensures the future prosperity of the organisation.
