AS Year : Comparative Analysis & Creative Writing - You will perform comparative analysis of one poem from the WJEC English Language and Literature Pre-1914 Poetry Anthology from a choice of two, one of which will be spoken language. You will study creative writing and commentary and answer questions comprising of written tasks, spoken language and commentary. Drama & Non-literary Texts - You will study post-1900 drama based on the reading of one play from a prescribed list. You will study a non-literary text and answer questions on this based on the reading of one text from a prescribed list.
