The qualification aims to equip students with skills and knowledge required for higher education or the world of work. The content addresses contemporary topics in sport, such as the impact in the use of ergogenic aids, technology and the increasing commercialisation of sport. Students can be assessed as a performer or coach in the full sided version of one activity. This also includes a written/ verbal analysis of a performance. There will also be an exam.
