Studying Further Mathematics will boost your performance in ordinary Mathematics and will introduce you to fundamental topics not included in A level Mathematics such as matrices and complex numbers. The structure is similar to the Mathematics course: the bulk of the course is spent on the study of pure Mathematics and the remaining third is a combination of different applied subjects: Decision, Mechanics and Statistics. Assessment is through end of year exams.
