Complementary Therapy has been a growing industry over the past 20 years being recognised for its involvement in maintaining good health and helping individual with varied disorders and stresses of life. Complementary has been recognised by the National Health Service and a lot of the treatments are offered by NHS. The course is a recognised qualification and enables you to practice as a therapist and enables you to get public liability insurance. The course is comprehensive in its delivery of both theory and practical elements. Within the course you will need to complete case studies, assignments and exams. Name: Complementary Therapies Intensive Diploma (QCF) Qualification title: Diploma in Complementary Therapies (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment You will be assessed through assignment work, question papers and practical assessments The assessment process consists of Health & Safety/Anatomy & Physiology- external written exam. Your practical skills will be assessed within a salon environment. Each module requires you to complete differing amounts of case studies at home and within college. It is your responsibility to document, evidence and provide your own clients for these. Case studies are an invaluable way to see how each therapy works at aiding health & wellbeing.
