Who is it for? Want to become a bricklayer? Learn how to build a wall using decorative brickwork methods. This diploma is ideal for learners aged 16+ who enjoy a practical environment, are interested in the construction industry and wish to develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in bricklaying. What qualifications do I need to do this course? No formal qualifications are required, however, you will need a positive attitude, commitment and self-motivation. This course is designed for school leavers who are able to work at a level that is equivalent to GCSE grades A-F. Entry Level courses are also available for those who want to progress to a Level 1 but do not yet meet these requirements. Level 2 is available for those who have successfully completed Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying. Three GCSEs grades A-C or above plus a positive record of achievement/progress files. Additional curriculum subjects included English and Maths Functional skills, Employability & Personal Development Skills and Enrichment activities.
