Flower Craft Beginners

This course will provide you with an introduction to the key aspects of working in the Floristry industry. It will give you the opportunity to learn skills such as gift wrapping, making bouquets, tied bouquets and cone wraps. You will also work with plants and arrangements, and learn different bow making styles. This course is ideal if you're interested in going into the floristry industry or you just want to know more about working with flowers. You will engage in Student and develop the personal skills and attributes that are essential for successful progression into working in floristry. You will be able to participate in the making of practical designs. Your tutor will help you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in a taught class. Your tutor will also support you to put together your folder of evidence, assess your work and give you feedback. Additional Support in English, maths and with your language skills is available if needed. You will put together a port-folio of all your work. There is no exam, assessment is continuous throughout the course. Your tutor will mark your work to ensure that you meet all of the assessment criteria and give you feedback on how well you are doing. You will have an Individual Student Plan and discussions with your tutor to review your progress and to set targets for further progression. This is an engagement course.
