The course is very challenging and is designed to stretch the more able A Level candidate. It is expected that you are excellent at independent study, although you will be encouraged to seek extra support when necessary. Further Mathematics A Level is benefical for students interested in studying Mathematics or related courses at University. The aims of the course are identical to those of the A Level option but each aspect of the course is developed in a broader and deeper context. The course comprises of two further pure modules and four other modules that cover further statistics, mechanics and decision mathematics.
