You will gain an appreciation of the written word that will sustain you throughout life, an understanding of a range of plays, poetry and novels and an A Level grade in a highly respected subject. An A Level in English Literature will open doors at all universities and a degree in English provides excellent training for careers in the arts, law, education and the media.
