The course enables you to study with a multi-disciplinary approach from a wide range of disciplines, with the focal point being the performer and the performance. This specifically involves various methods of study from projects, individual research and discussions. In addition to the theory topics, you will undertake a range of practical courses from knowledge of the health related benefits of PE to the development of sport from the 1800's through to the modern day. In addition you will cover nutrition, anatomy and physiology and psychological elements of sport. These are all linked to the effects on sports performance and how strategies can be used to improve these areas.
