This course explores the wide range of music styles and genres, including the analysis of particular popular music and jazz styles as well as specific works from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods. The course also includes a study of world music and specific 20th century composition techniques. You will be expected to become fully conversant with the use of music technology, used for all composition work.
