Pathways and Gateways courses are designed to give you an ideal introduction to College life, help you gain new skills and give you a progression route to take you onto the next course or Apprenticeship in an area of your choice. The range of subjects you will study are varied and could include animal care, art, horticulture and woodwork, so if you do not know what you would like to do there are different things to try out and discover. You will get plenty of support and confidence building because of the caring environment and small group size. Gateway to Employment will help you gain work skills which cover areas such as different careers and the job skills employers are looking for. You will undertake two days a week work experience, with possible changes each term to gain a variety of skills in different working environments.
