This broad based programme allows you to acquire practical animal management skills and devise appropriate management strategies relevant to the animal sector. It focuses on essential scientific knowledge and allows for the development of an interest in a particular species or niche area in the industry which you can carry forward to further study or employment. The recently extended facilities include housing for a range of species including reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals, horses and birds. The dog grooming facilities alongside the equine unit give you access to larger mammals and domestic animals
