Core Mathematics Level 3 Certificate: Mathematical Studies

This is a new course designed in association with employers, universities and professional bodies as valuable preparation for employment and further studies. The qualification has the same UCAS points as an AS level qualification. The qualification is aimed at students who are enthusiastic about Mathematics and want to continue this subject but not study to ‘A’ Level. This course is a 2-year course. Students will find this a suitable qualification to study to help the Mathematical concepts in other ‘A’ level subjects, for example ‘A’ level Geography, Psychology, Physics, etc. If you are planning for university or apprenticeships, this qualification will help you progress in your chosen field.
