Government & Politics

UPDATED 20161020 13:11:24

People disagree and this can lead to conflict. They disagree about how healthcare should be provided, about how schools should be run, about whether we should go to war and about whether suspected terrorists should be detained indefinitely. Debate and disagreement therefore lie at the heart of A level Politics . Politics is not a subject of absolute 'rights' and absolute 'wrongs'. It is a subject of rival viewpoints and competing opinions. The study of A level Politics will challenge you to develop and justify your own opinions and above all think for yourself.
