Geography

UPDATED 20161020 13:11:24

In a changing world where human action is seen as the cause of much environmental destruction the study of Geography provides a relevant and exciting option for study at AS and A2 level. At the heart of the Department is a dedicated team of teachers whose aim is to provide a positive environment for learning using a variety of stimulating material from fieldwork to up to date texts and case studies. The course will enable students to be aware of their physical environment, how this is managed as well as the changing sense of place in which we live and the geographical issues that result from this.
