t Key Stage 5, we currently follow the AQA English Literature syllabus (AQA Specification A, 7711AS, 7712A2). The course gives students exciting opportunities to study Love though the Ages and texts in contexts and in addition complete an independent study in year 13. Students have five lessons a week and are co-taught by two teachers who share responsibility preparing students for their coursework and examinations over the two year course. The AS course focuses on the study of Love through the Ages through the study of novels, poetry and drama. Students sit the AS examination before starting the final units of their A Level course, which is now linear.
