This programme is aimed at anyone considering a career in the uniformed Public Services. It provides background information, experience and direct contact with Public Services including police, fire service, ambulance crew and the army. The programme is to help the learner make an informed career decision and gain knowledge/experience of the entry requirements going into the public services. The modules studied will include: employment and career planning Improving health, fitness and expedition skills. The programme is a mixture of theory and practical lessons. In addition, students will undertake work experience in the industry to improve their employability levels. The programme will run on a number of days each week and will require approximately 12 hours of study per week. Students will experience a number of different activities with employers to help them engage positively with future career destinations: Fit 4 Less Stevenage, RAF, Army, and Navy, Police, Fire Service
