Beauty therapy is a fast-moving industry and there are always new products and treatments being developed. If you're passionate about helping others to look and feel their best then this programme is a great first step into in the challenging and exciting world of beauty therapy. Topics of study include: ?Health and safety ?Reception duties ?Employability ?Assisting with facial and nail treatments ?Preparing and maintaining the beauty therapy work area ?Anatomy and physiology You'll also have the opportunity to brush up on your English and maths skills through studying functional skills or GCSEs. WORK RELATED LEARNING The majority of your timetabled lessons will take place in our training salons, which are fully equipped to emulate a professional salon environment. You will also have the opportunity to gain real work experience within the beauty therapy industry, undertaking a minimum of 30 hours of work experience as part of this qualification.
