This programme is aimed at anyone considering a career in the uniformed Public Services. It provides background information, experience and direct contact with Public Services including police, fire service, ambulance crew and the army. The programme is to help the learner make an informed career decision and gain knowledge/experience of the entry requirements going into the public services. ?Government, policies and the public services ?Leadership and teamwork in the public services ?Citizenship and diversity ?Public service data interpretation ?Enhancing public service delivery ?Crime and effects on society ?Current and media affairs ?Physical preparation, health and lifestyle for the public services ?Aspects of the legal system and law making processes At NHC, we also offer units which explore applied sciences in the public services such as forensic investigation. A wide range of trips and activities will also be offered. You'll develop skills, knowledge and understanding in public services and will apply your learning in a practical and realistic way. Students on the Level 2 Diploma will experience a number of different activities with employers to help them engage positively with future career destinations: Fit 4 Less Stevenage, RAF, Army, Navy, Police, Fire Service
