The ICT Cambridge Technicals is a vocational qualification suitable for students aged 16+ who are interested in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding in ICT. The Cambridge Technicals is industry-relevant and geared to key sector requirements. Learners will take two mandatory units to achieve this qualification, Fundamentals of IT and Global information systems, both of which are externally assessed. The units provide learners with an insight into the IT sector as they investigate the pace of technological change, IT infrastructure, the flow of information on a global scale and important legal and security considerations.
