UPDATED 20161020 10:12:06

The BTEC National Award in Music progresses directly from GCSE Music or BTEC level 2 and gives students a deeper understanding of many elements of practical music making and music performance. These include performance techniques, ensemble skills, solo performance, planning and delivering a large-scale music project, studying Pop Music and community music. In a combination of practical group sessions and independently led work, students will develop and reflect on their own musical progress and creative expression.
