The Higher National Diploma course is designed as a top up from the Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering. This will enable students to study on a day-release and evening mode towards the Higher National Diploma qualification. This course is affiliated with the institution for Civil Engineers and is an internationally recognised qualification by most employers. Due to the part-time nature of the course it enables many people who are employed in the industry to attend. The Aim of the course is to give students a more advanced understanding of Civil Engineering. The course is affiliated with ICE. The course is recognised by the Institution of Civil Engineering for people working towards Incorporated Engineer status.
