A Level English Literature

Through the exploration of a range of exciting texts by a variety of authors, including Daniel Defoe, Raymond Chandler and (of course!) Shakespeare, you will analyse the impact of language within literature - and within life itself. You will have the opportunity to study major prose genres, including literary non-fiction, and develop your understanding of a writer's craft. You will also have the opportunity to express your innovative side with the creative writing and text transformation coursework. You will learn to produce a variety of texts and develop your own writing style.
