Mathematics combines well with almost all A Level courses and is highly regarded by universities and employers for its academic rigour. Mathematics is useful in almost any career, particularly the sciences, finance and business. Also mathematics teachers are always in great demand. at A2 you will study another two Pure Mathematics modules as well as an Applied Mathematics module. For the Applied Mathematics module you can choose to either continue your study of Statistics from AS (useful with Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Psychology) or study Decision Mathematics (a good choice if you're also doing Business or Computer Science), or study Mechanics (which goes well with Physics).
