Fine Art allows students to develop a diverse and creative portfolio, which can be suitable to support numerous future applications to both university and professional life. Studying Fine Art gives you the chance to explore your ideas through a variety of processes and media. You will continue to expand on prior learning, building upon your technical and practical knowledge of drawing, colour, material explorations and resolving outcomes. You will generate a broad-ranging and personal portfolio reflective of your own interests and specialisms. This course is very broad and allows you to expand your thinking alongside your practical explorations as you develop your use and understanding of visual language. You'll explore a range of media and applications, experiencing both two and three dimensions. You will be able to generate ideas through the following: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Installation, Mixed Media, Digital Processes and Lens Based Applications. Your studio work will be supported by independent research of Art and contextual subjects and first hand recording of your chosen subject matter
