Qualification content, structure and outcomes This qualification is designed to help you to enter employment in the creative sector or progress to higher education. It will help you to develop advanced technical skills and knowledge in Creative Media, as well as allowing you to specialise in one of the 7 pathways. This is a graded qualification that is part of our study programme offer. This qualification is a Level 3 Diploma, with 360 guided learning hours and 60 credits. To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media, you are required to successfully complete 3 mandatory units from Group A. You must then select a pathway and complete 3 units from the chosen pathway for a total of 60 credits. The qualification has 7 pathways: • Social Media • Graphic Design • Animation • Games • Interactive Media • Film and Television • Radio You will need to create a portfolio of evidence which will be internally assessed and externally moderated. This qualification is designed to help you to enter employment in the creative sector or progress to higher education. The qualification is available in the pathways listed above and at different levels. The progression route you are aiming for will help you to determine whether an alternative qualification is more suitable.
