Physical Education

UPDATED 20161021 12:48:06

This is an ideal course for students who have an interest in both practical performance and the theoretical aspects of sport. It is a coherent and worthwhile course of study both for students who will not continue with further study of the subject beyond this qualification or as a preparation for Higher Education or employment in a sports-related field.   The AS course is a one year course and the specification is co-teachable, so AS can be taught alongside first year A-Level students. AS students can choose to continue on to the A-Level course but all examinations at the end of the A-Level course will count towards the final grade.
