L3 Cache diploma in childcare and education

L3;The CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education is equivalent to three ‘A’ levels and is accepted by most universities. This course is particularly well suited to those who want to work with children or young people. Three days a week will be spent in formal lessons and the other two in work placements. These include a Day Nursery and a First School. Students will also spend a short amount of time working with babies. It prepares students to work with children and families in a range of settings, introducing the skills that they will need e.g. observation, communication and reflection and enabling them to practice these in the work place. Students will learn to analyse, evaluate and discuss and will develop the ability to link theory to practice.
