We encourage students to read widely and take an interest in news and current affairs in order to realise the universal impact of Biology. AS Content plus: Communication, Homeostasis and Energy - How your body detects and coordinates its response to changes in the environment and how energy is transferred within living things. Genetics, Evolution and Ecosystems - The role of genes in all aspects of biology and how an understanding of genetics can impact on all aspects of life.
