Business Studies will suit students who are interested in the dynamic world of business. The course investigates real life problems faced by businesses and explores possible solutions. Students will be encouraged to use their initiative in order to solve these problems. The course will explore interesting questions such as: 1. Why it is so complicated to work out the best mobile phone tariff?2. Why the Playstation was launched with bugs in the system? 3.Why the news media put so much stress on interest rates?4. Why a business can go bust despite being profitable?Student will explore the course through a case study approach ranging from one person enterprises through to large multinational corporations. There are three exams which include short answer questions, data response and extended essay style questions.
