UPDATED 20161019 09:59:46

The course covers a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction texts, using a range of specific terminology, which enables students to see how linguistic and literary methods are related. They then explore these links in their work through a range of assessment styles, such as re-creative writing, commentary writing, discursive essays and research-based investigative writing. This allows students to develop a wide range of interchangeable skills including: oral and written communication skills; cultural and social awareness; critical thinking and analytical skills; creative writing skill; close textual analysis.
