In order to be considered for this course, students must achieve a grade B or above in Spanish at GCSE. Students should have a secure knowledge of key tense formations and other key grammatical rules. This course is suitable for students who have a real passion for languages and who are proactively searching opportunities to develop their knowledge of the language. The students should enjoy studying authentic written and multimedia materials. Our aim is to develop further the four skills acquired at GCSE: listening, speaking, reading and writing. During the course, students will explore a range of topics with the emphasis very much on the culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
