This Zumba® course in Dartford has been designed for the active, older adult, but is open to anyone who would like to improve their fitness and health and enjoys group exercise classes. , , Zumba® takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. Students will learn how to improve mobility, suppleness, stamina and how to tone up their body. This Latin inspired dance fitness class is taught by a licenced Zumba® Instructor. You will learn a series of routines to a wide range of music including Cumbia, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha and Belly Dancing Students will also be told the health benefits of attending a regular fitness class and the teaching will reflect the different fitness levels of individuals., , You will learn dance-based exercise routines to a wide range of music. Lessons include a warm up and a combination of low impact aerobic work with muscle toning exercises and stretches to improve flexibility, stamina, co-ordination and posture. , , You will need to be able to follow verbal instructions, observe and copy physical movements and use spatial awareness within a group. By the end of this course you should be able to:, - Perform dance-based strength and endurance exercises, - Locate muscle groups, - Practise cardiovascular moves, - Exercise independently to music with minimal guidance, - Recount at least three ways in which exercises can benefit health and wellbeing , , You will need to be able to follow verbal instructions, observe and copy physical movements and use spatial awareness within a group. Although there is no specific work set outside of the class, students will gain most benefit if exercises are performed regularly and practised between classes, This is a mixed ability class that is suitable for beginners and people with some experience. , , By the end of this course you should be able to:, Use
