Jewellery Making - Enamelling

Add surface designs and colour to jewellery using the ancient art of enamelling. Enamelling involves fusing powdered glass onto your surface (glass, metal or pottery) and firing it to create hard decorative surfaces. In this beginners course you will explore the possibilities of enamel. You will make 2 - 3 pieces of jewellery using the copper blanks provided and you will come away with lots of ideas and inspiration for future designs., , By the end of the day you will be able to:, -prepare metal for enamelling, -use sifting and stencilling techniques, -enamel onto copper blank, -work safely in a jewellery studio
