Jewellery and Silversmithing - A Christmas Present

This one day Jewellery course gives you an opportunity to be introduced to the very basics of silver jewellery making using silversmithing techniques to make a simple Christmas themed item. You will be shown how to anneal the silver, cut and shape it into a simple shape designed and textured by you for the tree or a present. Those with an understanding of the basic techniques and have been on jewellery courses before will be encouraged to make a more complex silver gift in consultation with the tutor. Complete beginners and those with some experience., It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
