Creative Writing - Opening the Toy Box

UPDATED 20161018 12:26:56

The idea of this course is to explore some ways of stimulating writing. The writer's toybox can be as big as you want to be and on these linked Saturdays we will try a few ideas. It is more about finding ways to spark the imagination than in producing finished pieces. By the end of the course students will be able to, - recognise different stimuli to writing, - identify which already apply to them, - list a few new ideas and triggers to explore to stimulate their writing The course is designed for existing and experienced writers who want to develop a robust critical method by applying techniques to their own work and that of others. Writers of all genres are welcome to join the course.
