Drawing the Human Head from Life

This course explores a variety of skills in understanding and representing the form and structure of the human head from quick and expressive drawings to more considered work. The course is not about portraiture; it will concentrate on the form and structure of the head. There will be a clothed model to work from., , By the end of the course you should be able to:, , • Apply a variety of drawing techniques, including line and tone, in pencil and charcoal to render the form of the head., • Apply an understanding of proportions, divisions and features of the form to render a convincing head., , , There is no qualification for this course., , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking. All abilities, beginners welcome.
