If you are visiting Italy in the near future or want to grasp a little Italian lingo this 2 day Italian - basics in Canterbury is the course for you., , This 10 hour course aims to give students enough essential travel phrases to get by on a visit but will remain fairly basic. , , By the end of the course successful students should be able to:, - give and receive basic greetings and personal information, - tell the time and use numbers and currency, - order and pay for food and drink in a restaurant or cafe, - purchase items in shops asking for price, weight etc , - ask for and use directions, - request and understand basic travel information, , Basic Italian grammar will be taught and students will also gain an insight into the culture., You will be given small amounts of homework each week (max 1hr) to reinforce classroom learning.
