Yoga - Vinyasa Flow

UPDATED 20161018 12:25:28

If you want to increase your flexibility, build strength and tone up, this vinyasa flow class is for you. Vinyasa yoga uses the breath to move through a range of postures in a variety of sequences. We'll be performing variations of Sun Salutation, plenty of lunges, planks and downwards dogs! Movements are flowing and smooth (but faster than a Hatha class) and encourage you to listen to your body, finding what feels good, to balance mind and body. After working up a sweat, we'll finish each class with either a breathing or meditation practice and some blissful relaxation. , , Your class will be held in our modern studio where class sizes are no larger than 8-9 students, giving you the benefit of practising as part of a small group. As with all Yoga classes we advise anyone with a pre-existing medical condition to seek advice from their GP before exercising., , By the end of this course you should be able to:, , • Demonstrate and hold a variety of postures using correct alignment, • Practise control of breath to assist relaxation and stamina, • Identify the benefits of Yoga practice throughout various life stages, • Link a number of postures to perform a flowing sequence, • Recount at least three ways in which exercises can benefit health and wellbeing throughout various life stages. This Yoga class in Ashford is aimed at anyone interested in exercise, keep fit and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.
