Supporting Children's Learning LASER Level 1

This Introductory course is ideal for those who care for or work with children. As part of this Level 1 Supporting Children's Learning course, you will explore ways in which children learn and why some methods are more appropriate for some children than others. You will have the opportunity to try out some children's activities and discuss how they help learning. It is beneficial if you are able to explore these ideas and activities with children during the course., , Initial assessment is carried out at the beginning of the course and you will have the opportunity to discuss with your tutor what you would like to achieve as well as your progress. , , You will put together a portfolio of work showing your progress during the course. This will include explaining multi-sensory learning and writing about ways in which children learn English and Maths. You will also adapt or create a learning resource which can be used by children to help them learn, , Students will gain a certificate on successful completion of the course - LASER Level 1 Introduction to Supporting Children's Learning., This Supporting Children's Learning course is ideal for parents and those who look after children. It is also useful for classroom helpers of children aged 5 to 11 years and anyone considering taking a qualification as a Teaching Assistant.
