Then this Spanish advanced - Conversation course in Canterbury is for you., The aim is to give students the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge of the language and culture through enjoyable and interesting interaction. A range of different topics will be introduced from everyday life and daily news using articles from TV, radio, Internet and newspapers covering topics such as: education, environment, transport, science and technology, art, politics etc. Suggestions and ideas will be discussed at the beginning of the course. Students will develop their communicative skills in the language to reach a near native degree of fluency and accuracy in pronunciation/intonation, choice of vocabulary, grammar as well as idiomatic/colloquial expressions. , By the end of the course students will be able to: - exchange views confidently on a range of topical subjects. - take part in a discussion with native speakers with a near native command of the language. - use language appropriate to the situation and subject. - obtain detailed information, ideas and opinions from a variety of sources You will gain a more in-depth socio-cultural knowledge of the country where the language is spoken., You will be given small amounts of homework each week (max 1hr) to reinforce classroom learning., , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking.
