Sewing Bee - Know Your Sewing Machine

This course will enable you to better understand your machine; why threading correctly is so important, understanding both top and bottom tensions, how each of the stitches works, zips, buttonholes, sewing with stretch fabrics, sizes and types of needles to use with each type of fabric, etc. The course will give you the confidence to use your machine more fully. For those who wish to gain understanding of their sewing machine.It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak to the programme manager before you enrol.
