This is a fun and informative class covering a range of decorations and icing styles. You will learn how to decorate cupcakes in a variety of beautiful, wedding-themed ways. Ideal for a cupcake wedding tower and as presents if you can resist keeping them for yourself! You will learn how to make a range of icing styles including fondant, how to pipe swirly frosting and your own handmade decorations. , , By the end of this course you should be able to:, - use fondant icing , - use buttercream frostings , - colour icing , - pipe swirls on top of your cupcakes , - have had an introduction to sugarcraft - tools and techniques, - go away with your cupcakes and many further ideas for designs , , There is no qualification for this course., This course is suitable for anyone interested in cake decorating from complete beginners to those with a little prior experience.

Entry requirements

Students will need to bring their own cupcakes and icing and provide their own equipment e.g piping bag, palette knife etc. Please do not buy anything especially for the course before you receive the list of equipment etc. needed for the course which the tutor will send out about a week before the start. She can also provide a recipe for the cupcakes, if required.
