This 'Sewing Bee - Learn How to Sew' one day course in Sittingbourne is an introduction course. You will be learning to use a sewing machine and do some basic hand stitching on your own selection of sewing projects which could include bags, pillow or cushion covers, table runners and aprons., , By the end of the course you should be able to:, , - Thread up and use a variety of stitches on a sewing machine, - Make and press an open seam, - Make a button hole, - Stitch on a button by hand, - Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines Absolute beginners or those who want to brush up their basic skills and start to sew small craft projects.
