This Digital Photography - Improvers course in Sittingbourne is for those who already have some experience in using a digital camera and wish to develop their knowledge and skills further. The emphasis will be on students working on both self-identified and tutor-led projects with expert guidance. The edition of Photoshop software used on this course may vary from your own. We do, however, aim to teach transferable skills that can be applied to a variety of applications., , , , , This course is for those with some experience and/or those who have attended a beginners course, who have their own digital SLR camera and would like to develop their photography and image manipulation skills.

Compact cameras, DSLR ( Digital Single Lens Reflexes) and Prosumer/Bridge Cameras ( e.g. Lumix G2) can all be suitable for this course. Please note that some cameras are more suited to particular conditions or type of photo than others, eg. family shots, scenes, fast action. Please bring any other relevant materials and equipment that you have eg. camera to computer download cable, camera handbook, USB stick if you have one. and have a fully charged battery in your camera. A notebook and pen can be useful., , Please note:- If you are storing any data/images on transferrable data devices (memory sticks, portable hard drives, etc), please make sure that you have back-up files saved elsewhere and when removing devices have followed the 'safely removing hardware' guidelines on the PC.
