Patchwork and Quilting

This course in Deal will introduce students to the pleasures of Patchwork and Quilting. This absorbing hobby enables students with basic sewing skills to make colourful quilts, throws and wall hangings and more. A basic sewing machine is useful but not essential as both hand sewing and machine sewing will be covered during the course. , , This course in Deal is for beginners who would like to learn the basic skills to make a patchwork and quilting item. Also suitable for those with a little experience who would like to develop their skills further. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager before you enrol.,

Fabrics and other tools will be discussed with you by the tutor. To the first class please bring with you a ruler, notebook, pencil, graph paper, thin card (slightly thicker than a cereal box) and a craft knife.
