This one-day Saturday creative embroidery workshop in Maidstone is ideal for anyone wanting to learn how to use Tyvek in their stitching projects. , Tyvek paper and Tyvek fabric are used extensively in crafts and textiles and in jewellery for making beads. It is a synthetic fabric with appearance of paper which will shrink and bubble when heated to give amazing effects to your work. Also used for creating unusual background effects. , This course will also appeal to people who are interested in papercraft and are looking for new and innovative ways to add another dimension to their work. , On this one-day course you will be learning how to distress Tyvek with a heat gun or iron to create interesting shapes to apply to your work. You may also wish to use paint or ink to colour your material and stitch it before applying heat. , Anyone with an interest in textiles, stitch and papercraft. There's something for everyone on this one-day creative workshop in Maidstone.
