There is a strong emphasis on personal skill development, including the designing and glazing of work. Students will work on individual projects with professional advice and guidance from the tutor., , Please note the Pottery is located behind the Sarah Thorne complex off Fordoun Road, Boradstairs., , Outcomes will be dependant on individual projects:, , Understand the decorative and finishing aspects of glazes., , Work with clay and glaze confidently and creatively., , Design, make and evaluate ceramics using personal ideas., , Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines, Beginners and those with experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
