Through this subject we aim to consider how groups interact and raise crucial questions such as: Why are some groups more powerful than others? Why do we do as we are told? Why do some people achieve more than others? The course examines key aspects of society such as Culture and identity, the Mass Media, Education, Religion, Crime, Deviance and Theory and Methods.
